Inspired by the 19th Century painting, titled ‘One of Fifteen Triptychs of Famous Battlescenes’, the Wilde Battle Penny pays tribute to Edo period artwork once more - this time, sharing tales of conflict between rival Taira and Minamoto clans during the 1185 Genpei civil war. Originally produced using an inked woodblock printing method, these Wilde Penny Loafers feature a digitally printed design across the vamp instead.
